JOB DESCRIPTION

Conduct performance testing and optimization for applications and infrastructure to ensure scalability and availability

Monitor system reliability and implement chaos engineering practices to proactively identify and mitigate potential system vulnerabilities

Define and manage Service Level Indicators (SLIs), Service Level Objectives (SLOs), and error budgets

Provide debugging and support for applications, with a thorough understanding of REST APIs

Skills Required:

• 7+ years in SRE, DevOps, or Systems Engineering with extensive enterprise cloud monitoring expertise
• Deep experience with monitoring tools: Splunk/SignalFx, ELK Stack, AppDynamics, ITRS, or OpenTelemetry (OTEL)
• Strong AWS monitoring knowledge: CloudTrail, CloudWatch, VPC Flow Logs, X-Ray, CloudWatch Insights
• Advanced scripting/programming in Python (or similar) and API development (REST, GraphQL, AWS SDK)
• Solid understanding of CI/CD tools (Artifactory, Jenkins, Harness, Git)
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Strong problem-solving, analytical abilities, and effective communication across technical/non-technical audiences
• Proven track record implementing large-scale observability platforms in 24/7 production environments

QUALIFICATION:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
