Role Definition

The Site Supervisor will oversee a designated section of cable installation for an offshore wind project, collaborating closely with subcontractors and reporting to the Site Manager. 

Specific tasks include:

  • Ensure daily site monitoring, supervising work progress, checking installation compliance, and resolving any issues that arise during construction;
  • Collaborating effectively on civil engineering aspects for timely completion of the onshore cable route;
  • Contributing to the preparation of technical specifications for cable construction and installation;
  • Participating actively in the preparation, negotiation, and award of supply contracts;
  • Strengthening interfaces with other work packages.
  • Ensuring the subcontractors on site respect the contractual requirements and the planning
  • Warrants that the portion of the works will be delivered on time and with the level of quality expected

    • Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree with extensive professional experience in the field or Master Degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a similar role;
  • Fluency in English and German (written and oral);
  • Strong technical background (ideally in onshore energy projects or high and low voltage electrical equipment);
  • Prior experience in cable installation, electrical infrastructure, or telecommunications projects;
  • Flexibility to travel and stay on site as required by project needs;
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities;
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards for cable installation and electrical infrastructure (preferred);
  • Ability to work collaboratively with subcontractors, engineers, and project managers;
  • Resistance to stress;
  • Strong synthesis skills;
  • Writing skills;
  • Communication and listening skills to carry out missions successfully, integrating the multicultural dimension and the organizational complexity inherent in this type of project.

    • Conditions

    Remote working may be possible during preparatory works; local presence in North Germany is mandatory during execution/construction phase.
