Job Description

A Site Supervisor oversees construction projects and ensures they are completed safely, on time, and within budget. They coordinate tasks on-site, manage subcontractors, and communicate progress to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Site Management:

    Supervise all on-site activities, including construction work, and manage the workforce effectively to maintain productivity. 

  • Coordination:

    Liaise with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of materials and a smooth workflow. 

  • Quality & Safety:

    Conduct regular inspections to ensure adherence to project specifications, company quality standards, and strict safety protocols. 

  • Documentation:

    Maintain accurate daily site logs, progress reports, and other necessary project documentation. 

  • Reporting:

    Report project status, potential risks, and any issues to the Project Manager on a regular basis. 

  • Problem Solving:

    Resolve on-site conflicts and provide solutions to challenges that arise during the project. 

  • Resource Management:

    Ensure the proper use of tools, machinery, and construction materials on the site. 

Qualifications: 

  • Education:

    A Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.

  • Experience:

    3-5 years of proven experience in site supervision, preferably in architecture, interior design, or general construction projects.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in architectural and interior design drawings and specifications.
    • Familiarity with software like AutoCAD.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Knowledge of project management software is a plus.
  • Soft Skills:

    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Effective problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
