Role Overview
On behalf of our client, we are recruiting for a Skilled Composite Aircraft Fitter to support the assembly of aircraft main wing assemblies and sub-assemblies, specifically within the Fixed Trailing Edge Assembly area. The successful candidate will assemble composite and metallic aircraft components from detail parts, using approved tools, fixtures, and technical data, in line with strict aerospace quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Assemble and trim composite and metallic aircraft components in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications
* Carry out drilling, reaming, and countersinking operations on composite and metallic materials
* Accurately set aircraft components in calibrated build jigs
* Perform deburring and under-head radius operations on aircraft components and assemblies
