Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Skilled Operative to join our civil engineering team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality site works, ensuring safety standards are met, and supporting the smooth delivery of projects across all sections.
Responsibilities
Carry out a wide range of site tasks including groundworks, concreting, drainage, kerbing, paving, and reinstatement.
Operate small plant and machinery (e.g., rollers, dumpers, breakers) in line with training and certification.
Assist with the installation of services and utilities.
Ensure all works are completed safely, efficiently, and to specification.
Comply with site safety rules, RAMS, and company procedures.
Carry out quality checks and maintain high standards of workmanship.
Support colleagues and supervisors to ensure project deadlines are met.
Maintain tools, plant, and equipment in good working order.
