Job Opening: Counselor

Location: WFO

We are currently looking for a Counselor for Professional Courses at our Bardhaman (West Bengal) location.
Responsibilities:

Providing counseling to students on educational matters such as course and program selection, class scheduling, truancy, and career planning.

Assisting individuals in understanding and overcoming personal, social, or behavioral issues affecting their educational or vocational situations.

Maintaining accurate student records as required by laws, district policies, and administrative regulations.

Collaborating with parents, guardians, trainers, other counselors, and administrators to resolve students' behavioral, academic, and other issues.

Offering crisis intervention to students.

Communicating with parents and guardians to discuss their children's progress and determine their priorities and resource needs.

Preparing students for placements.

Demonstrating proficiency in counseling and persuasion.

Efficiently handling queries and providing support.

Possessing excellent communication skills.

Requirements

Requirements:

Education: BCA/MCA/BE/ (IT/CS)

Relevant Experience: Minimum 6 months to 2 years

Overall Experience: At least 2 years in counseling/telecounseling

Good interpersonal skills

Proficiency with MS Office

Graduate in any stream

Knowledge of the Degree Program/Ed Tech Program Admission Ecosystem
