Job Summary
We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Smart Hands Data Center Engineer to support the physical infrastructure of our data center in Helsinki. This role is critical to maintaining high availability, ensuring proper deployment of IT equipment, and providing on-site support for remote operations teams. The ideal candidate has strong experience with racking, cabling, and hardware maintenance in a data center environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation & Maintenance
Perform racking and stacking of servers, network devices, and storage systems.
Execute structured cabling (fiber and copper) in accordance with industry standards and internal documentation.
Label, route, and manage cables to ensure a clean, organized, and scalable data center environment.
Assist with hardware installations, replacements, upgrades, and basic troubleshooting.
