Role: Smart TV App Developer
Location: Remote
Experience Required: 4 to 7 Years
Availability: Immediate joiners preferred

Must-Have Skills:

Smart TV Application Development – Strong hands-on experience with Samsung (Tizen) or LG (webOS) platforms

JavaScript & JS Frameworks – Deep understanding of concepts like:

Functions, Hoisting, Prototypes

Async/Await, Promises, Event Loop

Inheritance, Closures, ES6, Object models

App Development for OTT Streaming services

Strong grasp of playback KPIs and player development/integration

Experience with Analytics integration using third-party services

Exposure to DRM types and their integration

Understanding of multi-platform development (Smart TV, Web, Mobile, STB)

Solid team collaboration skills in Agile/Scrum environments

Good to Have:
Experience in publishing apps on Samsung and LG app stores

Familiarity with store guidelines and app submission processes

Awareness of OTT partner ecosystem

Responsibilities:
Define and implement effective development strategies for Smart TV OTT applications

Collaborate with cross-functional teams: PMs, UX/UI leads, QA, Tech Leads

Perform code reviews, contribute to solution architecture, and support integration efforts

Participate in Scrum meetings, design discussions, and technical evaluations

Bring innovation and efficiency to development and delivery workflows

Assist in pre-sales efforts: PoCs, technical presentations, and client proposals
