Job Description

The SMO Specialist/Manager is responsible for developing and executing data-driven social media strategies that increase brand visibility, drive qualified website traffic, support lead generation, and enhance audience engagement across all social platforms. This role requires expertise in content planning, channel optimization, analytics, paid social, and cross-functional coordination to ensure strong brand presence and measurable performance outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement SMO strategies to increase reach, engagement, and traffic.
  • Plan, manage, and execute monthly content calendars across all platforms.
  • Drive qualified website traffic and support lead‑generation campaigns.
  • Optimize content for each platform (posts, reels, stories, videos, etc.).
  • Track performance metrics and prepare weekly/monthly reports.
  • Manage community interactions and maintain positive brand presence.
  • Collaborate with design, marketing, and SEO teams for integrated campaigns.
  • Monitor competitors and social trends to identify new opportunities.

Requirements:

  • 2–7 years of experience in SMO or Social Media Management.
  • Strong understanding of social media algorithms and optimization best practices.
  • Experience with analytics and scheduling tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Buffer).
  • Good communication, creativity, and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Basic design knowledge (Canva/Adobe) preferred.

Qualification:

  • Graduate and MBA (Marketing) from Tier 1 or Tier 2 B-School
