Overview

The role of an SMSF Accountant is to work with the SMSF team in an accounting practice to support core administration and back-office tasks, in accordance with client preferences and licensee policies and guidelines.

Main duties include:

  • CLASS update management for unlisted investments
  • Managing transaction processing in Class Software
  • Assist the Associates in SMSF or Trust Establishment paperwork
  • Collect and manage all FY statements. Prepare draft financials and tax returns in Class software
  • Provide regular communication to clients on work in progress and expected turnaround time for documentation.
  • Ensure the client’s Business Process Meeting Checklist (manual) is current and up to date

Qualifications

  • Graduate of BS Accountancy, Management Accounting, Accounting Technology or any related courses
  • With at least 2 years working in SMSF Admin/accounting space
