Job Description
Position: SMT Process Engineering (Deputy Manager/ Manager)
Responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining all SMT (Surface Mount Technology) processes in PCB Assembly. The role ensures high-quality, cost-effective, and repeatable manufacturing by controlling process parameters, introducing new products, eliminating defects, and improving productivity.
Key Responsibilities
A. Process Setup & Control
Develop and maintain SMT production processes including screen printing, solder paste application, pick-and-place, reflow profiling, AOI, SPI, and wave/selective soldering (if applicable).
Create and optimize reflow oven profiles for various solder pastes and PCB assemblies.
Define process parameters and SOPs.
Set up and validate SMT programs on machines (Panasonic, Juki).
Processes of Router, Conformal coating, ICT
B. NPD (New Product Development)
Lead NPD activities related to SMT, including DFx review (DFM, DFA).
Validate BOM, Gerber, centroid fi...
