Snowflake - PLSQL / SQL

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize SQL and PLSQL to manage and manipulate data within Snowflake or Netezza.
• Develop and implement UNIX shell scripts for data processing and automation.
• Work with Hadoop, HDFS, Spark, and NoSQL databases to support data workflows.
• Employ Python and AWS technologies for data movement and processing.
• Use AWS services such as EC2, S3, and EMR to efficiently transfer data to the cloud.
• Perform query tuning and optimization in relational database systems like Oracle or DB2.
• Leverage scheduling tools like Control-M for efficient job management.
• Analyze complex data sets to derive insights and solve problems effectively.
• Apply strong database and data warehousing concepts to design scalable solutions.
• Collaborate with global teams while working independently in a distributed environment.
• Understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
