Role summary:

Job Title: Social Media & Content Executive

Location: Mumbai

Key Responsibilities


Content Ideation & Support

  • Assist in brainstorming and developing engaging content ideas for social media video formats (Reels, Shorts, YouTube).
  • Research cultural trends, memes, hashtags, and viral formats to inspire creative storytelling.
  • Support in drafting captions, hooks, scripts, and basic copy aligned with brand voice.

Content Production Coordination

  • Collaborate with creative producers, editors, and designers to ensure smooth execution of video content.
  • Provide logistical and operational support during shoots and post-production processes.
  • Assist in preparing content calendars and ensuring deadlines are met.

Publishing & Channel Management

  • Support the scheduling and publishing of content across Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
  • Maintain content trackers and ensure adherence to posting schedules.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to manage approvals and quality checks before publishing.

Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Monitor social media analytics and prepare basic reports on reach, engagement, and performance.
  • Identify insights and share learnings with the strategy and creative teams to improve future content.

Learning & Development

  • Stay updated on the latest social media features, cultural trends, and audience behaviors.
  • Actively participate in internal brainstorms, training sessions, and workshops.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn tools and processes used in content creation and distribution.


Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong interest in social media platforms (Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn).
  • Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and digital-first content.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of content creation, editing, or social media analytics (a plus).
  • Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and work in a collaborative environment.
  • Curiosity, adaptability, and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced agency environment.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Media Studies, Marketing, Journalism, or related field.
  • 2+ years of professional experience (internship or project experience in social media is a plus).
  • Demonstrated interest in social media content creation (personal projects, student work, or active social presence preferred).
