Social Media Lead & Tech Content Creator
Location: Bangalore (Preferred)
About New Jaisa New Jaisa is India’s largest laptop & desktop refurbishing company, delivering enterprise-grade commercial laptops (Think Pads, Latitudes, Elite Books) at breakthrough prices. We’re on a mission to make high-quality personal computing affordable for everyone. We are now building a strong digital presence and looking for the face and voice of our brand across all major social platforms.
Role Overview We are looking for a tech-savvy, camera-confident, curious, tinkerer-at-heart content creator who lives and breathes personal computing. You will be the official tech voice of New Jaisa across Instagram, You Tube, Facebook, Twitter, Linked In, Reddit, Quora, and our blogs.
Your core job is to create engaging, insightful, hands-on content around laptops, performance, upgrades, comparisons, tear-downs, tech wisdom, and buyer guidance.
If you’re someone who naturally opens up devices to see how they work, keeps up with chipsets/benchmarks/GPU news, and loves explaining tech to people — this is your ideal playground.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & On-Camera Presence
● Be the face & voice of New Jaisa across digital platforms.
● Shoot deep tech laptop reviews, performance tests, comparisons, and buyer guides.
● Create teardown videos, upgrade videos, and form-factor breakdowns (Think Pad vs Latitude vs Elite Book etc.).
● Host podcasts, interviews, panel discussions with tech experts, gamers, IT professionals, and industry players.
● Produce short-form reels (IG, YT Shorts, FB), and long-form You Tube content.
Community Building & Thought Leadership
● Build and engage communities on:
○ Instagram
○ You Tube
○ Facebook
○ Twitter
○ Linked In
○ Reddit (r/tech, r/thinkpad, etc.)
○ Quora
● Participate in tech discussions, AMA sessions, laptop buying advice threads, and consumer help forums.
Content Writing & Knowledge Sharing
● Write blog posts, tech explainers, comparison articles, and buyer guides.
● Break down complex concepts into easy, enjoyable tech nuggets.
Digital Asset Ownership
● Full responsibility for: ○ Posting schedule ○ You Tube channel consistency ○ Creative direction ○ Analytics, insights, content performance ○ Cross-platform repurposing
● Work with internal product/tech teams to plan content calendar.
Brand Representation
● Represent Newjaisa as a credible, authentic, and knowledgeable tech authority.
● Maintain consistency in tone, accuracy, and brand trust.
Required Skills & Traits Technical Skills
● Passionate about laptops, CPUs, GPUs, RAM, SSDs, coding, benchmarks, tinkering.
● Strong understanding of: ○ Laptop components ○ Performance metrics ○ Thermal behavior ○ Battery health ○ OS & software basics ○ Upgrades & DIY repairs
● Hands-on curiosity: loves opening devices & exploring how things work. Content & Communication Skills
● Strong on-camera personality — confident,
clear communicator.
● Excellent written communication for blog posts & community threads.
● Comfortable creating content in English and Hindi (third language is a bonus)
● Ability to simplify complex tech for general audience.
Creative & Social Skills
Can ideate engaging scripts, thumbnails, hooks, and storytelling.
● Understands social platform algorithms (Instagram, You Tube, Twitter).
Personal Traits

● Prefers to keep updated with latest tech news
● Enjoys experimenting with gadgets
● High ownership & consistent creator mindset
Monthly Deliverables (Full-Time)
● 6-7 videos per month ○ Mix of short-form (Reels/Shorts) and long-form (You Tube)
● 4–5 written posts per month ○ Blogs / Reddit threads / Quora answers / Comparison posts
● Community engagement across 2–3 platforms
