Our CBD-based client and high-profile national industry body has a permanent full-time opportunity for a Social Media Manager to work within a marketing and content team and deliver content across education, membership, and event products.

The successful applicant will drive social media strategy to grow engagement, enhance brand visibility, and support lead generation across education, membership, and events.

Key responsibilities include:

• Develop the social media strategy and plan with clear objectives aimed at driving engagement and growth across all key channels
• Oversee all paid and organic social media initiatives
• Create engaging social content that resonates with key target audiences
• Collaborate with the company's media agency to align paid strategies with organic efforts
• Manage the social media content calendar to enhance the customer experience
• Oversee the creative direction and tone of social content
• Work collaboratively across the business to align the social media content plan.

Key requirements include:

• A minimum of 4 years’ experience driving and executing social media strategies
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on goal-setting, audience insights, and data-driven content optimisation
• Exceptional content creator with a knack for crafting engaging, brand-aligned copy
• Proficient in using social media management tools for scheduling, monitoring, analysing, and reporting
• An understanding of social algorithms and the agility to adapt to changes for maximum impact
• Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
