We are assisting our client in Battle Creek to hire a part time, travel licensed social worker, fully licensed in Michigan. Guaranteed hours per week is 24 and the hours vary. The social worker will float between ED and medical units (ICU, NVU, GMU, Oncology, Mother/baby).

Compensation: Salary: $67 - $71 per hour based on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assistance to aid patients with community resources, financial, or placement into an alternative setting.
  • Responsible for integrating, facilitating, and coordinating patient care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Provides direct clinical services including, individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, and counseling as appropriate
  • Provide case coordination and therapeutic education services.
  • Provide excellent patient care and compassion.
