Overview

The Software Asset Administrator is responsible for day-to-day tasks and administration of the software asset management program, including but not limited to process creation, entitlement entry, software reconciliation, PO creation, hardware receipt tracking, license renewal reviews with stakeholders, and maintaining related reporting metrics and dashboards.

Responsibilities

  • Enter and maintain entitlement data in ServiceNow

  • Review Software Asset Management (SAM) health check dashboard, resolving issues such as entitlements with missing owner

  • Review SaaS entitlements and ensure any subscription software that is licensed per user and configured via SSO is connected to ServiceNow

  • Manage software retirement for decommissioned servers or application services
