Description and Requirements
As an active member of TELUS International, you will be at the heart of a major TELUS transformation program supporting it as a Software Delivery Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Manage software development projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget. Represent the software development team to external teams, stakeholders, and customers.
- Communicate effectively with team members, customers, and external parties.
- Demonstrate empathy towards team members and their concerns.
- Provide leadership and inspire the team to achieve goals.
- Develop a vision for the team and work towards it.
- Make sound decisions benefiting the team and company.
- Negotiate effectively with external parties for favorable outcomes.
- Follow up to ensure commitments are met.
- Possess strong operational skills to meet team objectives.
- Encourage a positive work environment where team members feel supported.
Required skills:
- Experience as Software Delivery Manager (1+ years)
- Proven IT Project Management experience
- Experience leading projects across all phases (4+ years)
- Leading IT Projects in Infrastructure, Transformation, or Application Development (5+ years)
- Microservices experience (GCP, AWS, or Azure, with AWS preferred)
- Knowledge of Google Spreadsheets and data modeling tools (2+ years)
- Analytical, consulting, negotiation, and problem-solving skills (2+ years)
- Experience producing and maintaining project documentation (3+ years)
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- Effective communication skills
- Minimum 2 years as a TELUS Digital Experience Employee
- Minimum 1 year in current position
- Completion of TELUS Digital Central America | People Leader Fundamentals course
