Description and Requirements

As an active member of TELUS International, you will be at the heart of a major TELUS transformation program supporting it as a Software Delivery Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage software development projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget. Represent the software development team to external teams, stakeholders, and customers.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, customers, and external parties.
  • Demonstrate empathy towards team members and their concerns.
  • Provide leadership and inspire the team to achieve goals.
  • Develop a vision for the team and work towards it.
  • Make sound decisions benefiting the team and company.
  • Negotiate effectively with external parties for favorable outcomes.
  • Follow up to ensure commitments are met.
  • Possess strong operational skills to meet team objectives.
  • Encourage a positive work environment where team members feel supported.

Required skills:

  • Experience as Software Delivery Manager (1+ years)
  • Proven IT Project Management experience
  • Experience leading projects across all phases (4+ years)
  • Leading IT Projects in Infrastructure, Transformation, or Application Development (5+ years)
  • Microservices experience (GCP, AWS, or Azure, with AWS preferred)
  • Knowledge of Google Spreadsheets and data modeling tools (2+ years)
  • Analytical, consulting, negotiation, and problem-solving skills (2+ years)
  • Experience producing and maintaining project documentation (3+ years)
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Effective communication skills
  • Minimum 2 years as a TELUS Digital Experience Employee
  • Minimum 1 year in current position
  • Completion of TELUS Digital Central America | People Leader Fundamentals course
