As an active member of TELUS International, you will be at the heart of a major TELUS transformation program supporting it as a Software Delivery Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage software development projects to ensure timely and within-budget delivery. Represent the software development team to external teams, stakeholders, and customers.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, customers, and external parties.
  • Demonstrate empathy towards team members and their concerns.
  • Provide leadership and inspire the team to achieve goals.
  • Develop and work towards a vision for the team.
  • Make sound decisions benefiting the team and company.
  • Negotiate effectively with external parties for favorable outcomes.
  • Follow up to ensure commitments are met.
  • Possess strong operational skills to meet team objectives.
  • Encourage a positive work environment where team members feel valued and motivated.

Required Skills:

  • Experience as a Software Delivery Manager (1+ years).
  • Proven IT Project Management experience.
  • Experience planning and leading projects across all phases (4+ years).
  • Experience leading various IT projects—Infrastructure, Transformation, Application Development (5+ years).
  • Microservices experience with GCP, AWS, or Azure (AWS preferred).
  • Knowledge of Google Spreadsheets, including data modeling and analytical tools (2+ years).
  • Strong analytical, consulting, negotiation, and problem-solving skills (2+ years).
  • Experience producing and maintaining project documentation and processes (3+ years).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a TELUS Digital employee.
  • Minimum 1 year in current position.
  • Completion of the TELUS Digital Central America | People Leader Fundamentals course.
