Software Developer

The Role:

• Collaborate with quant researchers and traders to address business needs, translating their requirements into robust and scalable technical solutions.

• Build and maintain system platforms and tools to support quant investment and quant analysis initiatives.

• Develop new financial products and features in in-house pricing engines and trading systems.

• Optimize the performance and enable timely execution of quant models and systems.

• Investigate and resolve issues across SIT, UAT, and production environments, ensuring system stability.

• Drive the full software development lifecycle, delivering high-quality solutions on time.

• Partner with IT engineering teams to ensure seamless system integration and reliability.

• Leverage GenAI tools and techniques to enhance efficiency across the quant development workflows.

Requirements:

• A good degree in Computing/Engineering, or a related field is required.

• Strong design and coding skills, which proficiency in Python or C#.

• Knowledge in financial engineering and quant finance concepts is a big plus.

• Knowledge of relational databases is preferred.

• Experience of source control, continuous integration, and profiling tools is preferred.

• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code) is a plus.

• Sensitivity to numbers is a plus.

• Willing to work in a fast-paced front office (trading floor) under tight deadlines.
