Software Development Engineer

Senior Software Development Engineer: 
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end design, development, and delivery of robust APIs and platform services powering 3rd-party and automotive integrations
• Serve as a technical lead and trusted advisor for the Business Development team on partner-enablement solutions
• Architect scalable systems that handle high availability, performance, and security across multiple environments
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of engineering excellence
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across product, BD, and Alexa platform teams to shape technical strategy and execution

Basic Qualifications:

• 6+ years of software development experience, including system design and architecture
• Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python
• Deep experience building and scaling API-driven platforms or complex distributed systems
• Proven ability to work across organizational boundaries and influence technical direction

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background in automotive tech stacks, embedded systems, or smart devices
• Familiarity with voice assistant platforms, connected services, or Alexa APIs
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives or greenfield projects
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on customer experience and partner enablement
