We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented  Software Development Engineer in test within our Consumer Information Business with a passion for innovation and excellence in software testing. The ideal candidate will be proficient in modern automation frameworks like Selenium with C#, Playwright, have hands-on experience with performance testing, and possess a strong understanding of Azure services. The candidate will be responsible for testing both UI components and .NET APIs, automating end-to-end workflows, and contributing to process improvements and documentation. ‌

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium with C#.
  • Work with Playwright or Cypress using TypeScript (added advantage).
  • Build and enhance automation frameworks for UI, API, and integration testing.
  • Collaborate with development and product teams to analyze requirements and prepare test plans, test scenarios, and test strategies.
  • Execute manual and automated tests to validate functionality, reliability, and performance.
  • Integrate automation test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar tools.
  • Work in Azure/AWS cloud environments to validate deployments, configurations, and services.
  • Design and execute performance tests using JMeter and BlazeMeter, analyze performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and provide optimization recommendations.
  • Identify, document, and track defects; ensure timely resolution.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure scalability and maintainability of test frameworks and automation solutions.

 


Qualifications

  • 3–8 years of experience as an SDET / Automation QA.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver using C#.
  • Exposure or experience with Playwright or Cypress using TypeScript.
  • Good hands on performance tool like , Jmeter, Blazemeter Strong understanding of test design techniques, test planning, and test strategy creation.
  • Experience working with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and branching strategies.
  • Good understanding of REST API testing using tools like Postman or automation libraries.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure or AWS cloud services for testing and validation.
  • Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
