Software Development Engineer in Test II (SDET II)

We’re looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test II who will design, develop, and evolve automated tests across cloud, web, and mobile products.

What You’ll Do
  • Break down product requirements to create thorough, thoughtful test cases
  • Execute manual and automated tests in Agile delivery teams
  • Participate in test case reviews and design discussions with Product & Engineering
  • Document results, behaviors, defects, and edge‑cases clearly and efficiently
  • Build and enhance automated test cases using existing frameworks
  • Adjust and refactor automation as requirements evolve
  • Execute automation suites, analyze failures, and drive root‑cause identification
  • Work with .NET or Java to develop or expand test automation scripts
  • Contribute to troubleshooting sessions for distributed systems
  • Support and maintain automation frameworks focused on scalability, extensibility, and performance
  • Integrate test automation into continuous integration pipelines
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s in a technology‑related field + 3+ years as an SDET or Software Engineer in Test
  • 3+ years using an object‑oriented programming language
  • Experience automating tests in .NET or Java
  • Strong hands‑on experience with Appium and Selenium
  • Proven ability to design, implement, and scale automation frameworks
  • Strong understanding of testing strategies & QA processes
  • Prior experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
Nice to Have
  • Experience adding automation into CI/CD (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Linux)
  • Familiarity with microservices
  • Experience building or testing iOS/Android mobile applications
  • Backend/API testing experience + SQL knowledge
  • Deep experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
