Responsibilities of the Software Development Manager will include but are not limited to:

Team Leadership & People Management

  • Lead and manage a team of 6-20 software developers, providing clear direction, support, and professional development opportunities
  • Conduct comprehensive performance reviews twice per year, setting clear objectives and career development plans for each team member
  • Identify and implement targeted plans to address individual and team skill through training, mentoring, and development initiatives>
  • Manage team remuneration discussions, optimizing compensation strategies to retain top talent and motivate high performance
  • Organize and facilitate team building events 2-4 times per year to foster collaboration, morale, and team cohesion
