Chipton-Ross is seeking a Software Engineer 1 for a contract opportunity in Redondo Beach, CA.



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):



  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 0 - 2 years of experience, a Master's degree in a STEM discipline or a PhD in a STEM discipline with 0 years of experience. An additional 4 years of relevant SW experience may be considered in lieu of degree

  • Active SSBI required at the time of application, and the ability to obtain SCI prior to start date

  • Object-Oriented programming skills and proficiency with C++ programming

  • Knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating system
