About the role
Work for a leading financial firm that's experiencing unprecedented growth! As they continue to expand and scale their organisation they are looking for a skilled Software Engineer to improve existing processes and develop new tools for the internal team to improve organisational efficiency. 

What's a typical day look like? 

• On-going optimisation of the performance of automated processes
• Implement maintainable solutions to increase organisational efficiency
• Designing, building, and testing new tools.
• Onboard and integrate APIs from 3rd party sources. 
• Collaborate with the wider engineering team to ensure new tools and systems meet quality, security, and performance standards.

About you:

• 5 years of experience in process Improvement engineering roles, ideally experienced with automation or intelligent systems.
• Proficiency in Python & SQL with an understanding of how these apply to data-driven solutions.
• Experienced in Financial Services concepts working with Portfolio management teams
• Ability to work autonomously and communicate with users cross-departmentally 
• Experience within Cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), CICD, Docker  would be advantageous.
• Permanent Resident or Citizen of Australia.
