We are seeking a passionate Software Engineer to join our innovative team as we continue to transform the future of mobility.

Your Responsibilities

  • Own the development of all server-side logic, ensuring robust and scalable solutions
  • Craft reusable, testable, and efficient code to power our platform
  • Design and deploy low-latency, high-availability applications with a strong emphasis on performance
  • Integrate a variety of data storage solutions to meet complex business requirements
  • Develop comprehensive automated tests and testing platforms to maintain code quality
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience in software development
  • Strong backend experience with Node.js, GraphQL and REST APIs
  • TypeScript across backend and frontend codebases
  • Experience building user interfaces with React and React Native
  • Strong PostgreSQL expertise, including database design, queries, functions, row-level security and performance optimisation
  • Experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit, Jest, Supertest, or similar
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
  • Bonus: Experience with financial systems (payments, transactions, compliance) is highly valued

Location and Engagement Model

  • This role is offered on a remote contractor basis
