Software Engineer - Developer Experience

Software Engineer Platform / Developer Productivity We are hiring a Software Engineer for a leading HFT to join a Platform Engineering team, focused on building tools, systems, and platforms that enable developers to work faster, more reliably, and with confidence in a high-frequency trading environment. This role sits close to development teams and is responsible for improving the end-to-end software development lifecycle, from local development and testing through to build, deployment, and production operations. Key responsibilities: Build and maintain internal developer tooling, platforms, and automation to improve speed and efficiency Design and support build, CI/CD, and deployment systems used across engineering teams Improve developer workflows by reducing friction, manual steps, and feedback loops Develop scalable, reliable infrastructure and services used by multiple teams Work closely with developers to understand pain points and deliver practical solutions Requirements: Strong software engineering fundamentals Experience building internal tools or platforms for developers Familiarity with modern CI/CD, containerisation, and cloud-native systems Ability to write clean, maintainable code and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment If you are interested in this position, please apply directly or reach out to our Head of Technology at [email protected]
