Located in Galway, Ireland, you will be part of our Devices innovation team, working closely with colleagues both locally and as part of a wider international team spanning Oslo and the United States. Our Devices team brings together 300+ passionate engineers across hardware, software, mechanics, audio, media processing, and artificial intelligence-from concept to product. We strive to create best-in-class video conferencing experiences by bringing together diverse engineering disciplines under one mission.
**Your Impact**
You are a software engineer who enjoys working across the entire software stack, from low-level Linux development to building automated tests. You thrive as part of a team and contribute to our culture of shared learning, yet you are equally comfortable taking ownership and figuring things out independently when needed.
You will:
+ Build features and maintain functionality by writing software in C++/Python/Rust
+ Help integrate software from our meeting platform partners into our own software stack
+ Build software with quality and attention to detail
+ Help the team focus on continuous improvement-whether it's related to code quality or internal processes
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Degree in computer science or equivalent
+ 2+ years of professional programming experience, preferably in C++ Experience working with Linux
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ A problem solver who enjoys learning new things
+ Experience with embedded platforms and an interest in low-level programming
+ Experience with Android development and ecosystem is an advantage
+ Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills
+ Interest in device security topics
+ Test-focused attitude when writing software
+ Excellent collaboration and communication skills
