Software Engineer (Immediate Hire)

We are looking for a motivated Software Engineer who is passionate about building reliable, scalable, and high performance applications. You will work closely with senior engineers, product managers, designers, and QA teams to develop and enhance Mazad’s digital products. This role is ideal for an early career engineer who is eager to learn, contribute to real production systems, and grow rapidly in a collaborative environment.

• Write clean, reusable, well tested, and maintainable code.

• Participate in daily Scrum meetings, sprint planning, and task estimations.

• Contribute to the development of Mazad digital products including mobile applications, websites, and system integrations.

• Assist in designing and implementing software components that align with business and scalability requirements.

• Develop features across frontend and backend technologies under guidance from senior engineers.

• Debug, analyze, and resolve technical issues in development and production environments.

• Collaborate with cross functional teams including product managers, designers, and QA engineers to deliver features end to end.

• Follow established coding standards, architectural patterns, and best practices.

• Write unit tests and participate in test driven development practices.

• Support performance optimization efforts to improve application speed and reliability.

• Apply basic security best practices to protect user data and system integrity.

• Maintain and improve existing codebases through refactoring and enhancements.

• Document code, technical decisions, and workflows clearly.

• Assist with deployments, monitoring, and incident resolution alongside DevOps and senior engineers.

• Continuously learn new technologies, tools, and frameworks relevant to the role.

• Fresh graduate or 0 to 1 year of professional software engineering experience.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Familiarity with TypeScript and JavaScript.

• Basic experience or academic exposure to Node.js, React.js, and React Native.

• Working knowledge of PostgreSQL and familiarity with at least one NoSQL database.

• Basic understanding of distributed systems and messaging concepts.

• Exposure to AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, or similar cloud platforms.

• Understanding of clean architecture principles and test driven development fundamentals.

• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools.

• Ability to learn quickly, adapt to new challenges, and work under pressure.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.

• Exposure to real time systems such as WebRTC or Socket.IO.

• Experience or academic projects related to e commerce or auction platforms.

• AWS or Azure cloud certifications.

• Basic UI or UX knowledge or interest in frontend experience design.
