About the Role
As the SDET for Backend at Aspora, you’ll own the quality strategy, reliability benchmarks, and automation frameworks behind our banking, payments, and core financial systems. You’ll work closely with backend engineers, SREs, mobile SDETs, and product teams to ensure every release is robust, scalable, and fault-tolerant. This role is highly impactful. You’ll shape how we test distributed systems, validate data integrity, and future-proof our platform for scale.
What You’ll Own
- Build and scale automation frameworks for REST APIs, microservices, event streams, and backend workflows.
- Define and execute E2E test strategies across APIs, message queues, cron jobs, and data pipelines.
- Develop test utilities, mocks, and stubs for upstream/downstream services and external integrations.
- Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions/Jenkins) for continuous feedback loops.
