Job Overview

We are seeking a Mid-Level Software Engineer In Test to join our CLIENT for a full-time, hybrid position located in Noida, Gurgaon, or Bangalore. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. The position requires a strong understanding of test automation and software testing methodologies.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in software testing, with a strong focus on automation testing processes.
• Proficiency in Java (Mandatory skill) with a deep understanding of object-oriented programming and software development principles.
• Solid knowledge of Selenium (Mandatory skill) for automated testing of web applications to ensure scalability and performance.
• Experience in Multithreading (Mandatory skill) for enhancing the performance of test automation scripts.
• Familiarity with JUnit for unit testing and ensuring code quality through automated test cases.
• Working knowledge of Spring framework to build robust test solutions and enhance test reliability and effectiveness.
• Hands-on experience with TestNG for effective testing frameworks and seamless testing strategies for applications.
• Experience with Cucumber for behavior-driven development to enhance testing and promote collaboration.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts to ensure high-quality product deliveries.
• Collaborate closely with software developers and product managers for the continuous improvement of software testing strategies.
• Analyze testing metrics and actively contribute to improving test coverage and product quality.
• Participate in code and design reviews to ensure robust software development practices.
• Identify, diagnose, and document test failures, defects, and performance issues within the software.
• Ensure that test environments are correctly configured and maintained for testing cycles.
• Continuously update testing skills and knowledge of emerging testing tools and technologies to enhance testing practices.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior testers and foster knowledge-sharing within the team.
