Software Engineer - Analytics - Python

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading UK asset manager for an data and software development expert to join a specialist investment analytics team supporting decision making across public and private markets.

This is a hands on development role focused on building robust, production grade Python analytics, tools and dashboards used directly by portfolio managers and investment teams. It is not a reporting, risk or quant research position. The emphasis is on technical delivery and practical impact in a front office environment.

The role

You will design, build and maintain Python based investment analytics and tooling used across equities, rates, credit, private markets and ESG strategies. Working closely with portfolio managers and investors, you will translate investment questions into scalable analytical solutions and enhance a substantial existing Python codebase.
