Software Engineer

Oketra is building a digital payment solution that allows Angolans to access global services through reloadable USD-based cards.

Now we’re entering a critical phase: ensuring the infrastructure is scalable, secure, and adaptable to the technical and regulatory challenges of the market.

Tasks

• Develop and maintain software solutions that meet Oketra's needs.


• Collaborate with team members to design new features and improve existing ones.


• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software systems to enhance performance.


• Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality code and best practices.


• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to innovate and improve.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Software Engineer or similar role


• Strong knowledge of programming languages like JavaScript (ReactJs & React Native), Python (FastAPI)


• Familiarity with software development methodologies and lifecycle


• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail


• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
