    Designation  : Software Engineer (Magento 2)
    Experience Range :  2+ years

    What is the work?

  • Develop, customise, and maintain Magento 2 modules and backend functionalities
  • Work on Magento 2 customisation, extension development, and third-party integrations
  • Integrate and manage third-party APIs using REST and SOAP
  • Perform basic to intermediate-level integration of React with Magento
  • Follow Magento coding standards, security guidelines, and best practices
  • Perform debugging, issue resolution, and performance optimisation
  • Stay up to date with Magento upgrades, patches, and emerging technologies.

    • What skills and experience are we looking for?

  • 2–3 years of hands-on experience in Magento 2 development
  • Strong understanding of Magento 2 architecture, MVC, EAV, and coding standards
  • Experience working with Magento CLI and Composer
  • Understanding of Magento themes, layouts, and XML configuration
  • Familiarity with Dependency Injection (DI), Plugins, and Observers
  • Basic understanding of Magento Cloud and deployment workflows
  • Good to have - Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Experience integrating REST and SOAP APIs
  • Exposure to React.js and modern frontend frameworks is an advantage
  • Familiarity with Git and version control systems
  • Experience with performance optimisation, caching mechanisms, and deployment processes
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to analyse requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced development environment
