Software Engineer (NV1)

Clicks' client are seeking a contract Software Engineer for a contract role.
Term: Until June 2026, with a possible 12‑month extension.
Context: Unique independent delivery role, operate solo day‑to‑day while professionally representing our client to their customers.

What you'll bring:

• Advanced, hands‑on Java
• Integrating complex systems/components
• Experience with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes
• Fluent in Agile practices and frameworks
• Self‑directed execution with sound judgement; seek guidance when needed
• Confident engaging directly with customers/end users
• Resilient in ambiguous, research‑driven environments; adapt to evolving scope

Nice to have:

• Working knowledge of Python
• Exposure to C++

Due to security requirements, you must be holding a Negative Vetting 1 security clearance (or higher) at the time of application.
