Here's what you'd do:

  • Prepare source data provided by customers for CDB creation through Terra Vista.
  • Support the automation processes of source data preparation to enhance efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and remediate current issues related to CDB creation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
  • Geospatial Data Preparation & Management.Work with imagery, elevation, and vector data.Use tools like ArcGIS, QGIS, Global Mapper, GIMP & Photoshop
  • Data Conversion & Interop-abilityImporting heterogeneous source formats and resolving projection/LOD mismatchesExporting or integrating into other standard formats (e.g., Open Flight)

    Job Requirements Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree 
  • Minimum 9 years of experience with Terra Vista.Including setting up projects and building databases.Understand workflows: Importing data, editing vectors/3D models, setting LODs, running buildings)CDB creation with Terra Vista, CDB (Critical Skillset)
    • Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Terrain Generation Tool: Terra Vista (worked with versions 6.0 & 22.0)
  • Modeling Tool: Creator (OpenFlight)
  • GIS Tools: qGIS, Global Mapper, or ArcGIS
  • Texture Tools: GIMP, Photoshop
  • CDB Specs & Structure KnowledgeSolid grasp of Common Database specifications ( structures, layers, folder layout, versioning, etc)Experience producing CDB outputs from source GIS/imagery/elevations dataSource data attribution and preparation for CDB creation
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing techniques, candidate assessment, and interview best practices.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment tools.
