Software Engineer (React)

As a Software Engineer (React) , you will focus on building innovative products that meet our merchants’ needs, creating and developing a seamless payments experience across LATAM in close collaboration with Product and Design teams.

This role reports to a Software Engineering Manager from our Business area.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Portuguese or Spanish highly desirable).
• Autonomous and thrives in remote environments, managing your own time with a “get it done” attitude.
• Customer‑centric and experienced in collaborating within high‑performing, distributed Agile teams.
• 5+ years of experience as a Frontend Software Engineer (React) or a similar role.

• Strong experience with JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Proficiency in React and Next.js framework.
• Experience with data fetching and caching using SWR or React Query.
• Knowledge of react‑intl/next‑intl or any other internationalization tool.
• Experience with experimentation frameworks and A/B testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with analytics platforms such as Segment and Amplitude.
• Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and monitoring tools (Datadog).

• Experience with Tailwind CSS for UI development.
• Basic familiarity with React Native or willingness to learn.
• Basic familiarity with Java and Spring Boot or willingness to learn.
• Experience with Object‑Oriented Design, TDD, and BDD.
• Previous experience in Fintech or the Crypto industry.

• Build merchant solutions and develop responsive, high‑impact web interfaces using React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with Product, Design, and Backend teams to translate complex financial flows into user‑friendly UI/UX.
• Write clean, testable code (TDD/BDD), ensuring fast, scalable, and bug‑free frontend applications.
• Integrate analytics platforms (Segment, Amplitude) and run A/B testing strategies to validate hypotheses and improve user experience.
• Implement internationalization strategies to ensure products feel native and accessible to users in Brazil, Mexico, and beyond.
