Software Engineer - SQL DB Admin

Role Overview

Technical Skills & Functional Knowledge

• Database Systems : Foundational knowledge of RDBMS including PostgreSQL and SQL Server .
• Cloud Platforms : Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure services.
• Scripting : Proficiency in PowerShell or Python for automation and tooling.
• Networking & Hardware : Basic understanding of networking concepts and hardware components.
• Operating Systems : Familiarity with Windows and/or Linux environments.

Bonus Skills

• Ability to read and troubleshoot SQL code , including execution plans .
• Experience in end-to-end troubleshooting across application, network, hardware, and database layers.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science , Engineering , or related field with 5 + years of experience.

• Strong ability to document, track, and resolve issues efficiently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated with strong collaborative problem-solving abilities.
