The Software Engineer is responsible for researching, designing, developing, and testing software for the company's test utilities. This role involves making high-level design decisions, setting technical standards, and ensuring long-term maintainability, extensibility, and testability of software solutions for Integra's development testers and tools.

This role will be based in Haifa following our planned office relocation in 2026.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

+ Lead software development for Testers & Calibration systems. Both internally and by subcontractors
+ Gather and analyze requirements from system engineering or internal stakeholders.
+ Design software components based on requirements, timelines, and implementation constraints.
+ Develop software code following established guidelines and standards.
+ Ensure software quality and alignment with system needs (unit testing, code reviews, defect fixing etc).

**QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE**

+ Bachelor's degree in Exact Sciences, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
+ Minimum 5 years of R&D experience in roles such as Software Engineer.
+ Experience in the medical device industry is an advantage.
+ Strong proficiency in English - both written and verbal.
+ Proficient in NI TestStand (versions TS3.5 and TS2019) - must
+ Understanding of statistics, signal processing and physics - must
+ Proficient in NI LabWindows CVI - must
+ Proficient in ANSI C (C99) and C# must
+ Experience with NI Developer Suite - an advantage
+ Experience with MSSQL and/or other SQL servers - an advantage
+ Basic understanding of VBA - an advantage
+ Experience in creating OS images of Windows 7 and 10 - an advantage
+ ADO and TFS -An advantage
