What we do

Lucidity is a company that provides an automated NoOps disk auto-scaler for cloud storage across AWS, Azure, and GCP. It addresses over-provisioned block storage by dynamically scaling capacity, increasing disk utilization to around 80% from 25-35%. This results in cost reductions of up to 70% for businesses. Technology is at the heart of our organization. As part of the tech team you will :

1.Understand product requirements and brainstorm ways to address them

2.Build features from scratch and have complete ownership for it

3.Deliver efficient, reliable, scalable code with high automated test coverage

4. Contribute to team decisions in the overall architecture and practices of the company

What you’ll do

• Design, develop, and maintain software solutions using C/C++ focused on Windows system internals.
• Work with the Win32 API to build efficient and robust system-level applications.
• Implement multi-threading techniques to ensure optimal performance and responsiveness of the system.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize complex systems and applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and enhance software features.
• Write high-quality, maintainable code following best practices.
• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in system-level programming and apply them effectively.

What you'll need

Must Haves

• Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming languages
• Hands-on experience working with APIs is a must.
• Deep understanding of Windows system internals and architecture.
• Experience working with the Win32 API to develop system-level applications.
• Expertise in multi-threading and concurrent programming.
• Ability to optimize code for performance, stability, and scalability.
• Solid knowledge of debugging and troubleshooting techniques.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Good to haves

• Experience with other system programming languages (e.g., Assembly).
• Experience with Cloud
• Knowledge of Windows kernel programming and drivers.
• Familiarity with performance profiling and debugging tools.
• Experience with cloud-based systems or virtualization technologies.
