Most companies treat the database as a passive storage bin. At Oracle, we're doing the opposite. We are building the Database AI App Dev Platform, a next-generation environment where application logic lives directly alongside data.
Our mission is to eliminate the data tax—the latency and complexity of moving data to the code—by running modern languages and microservices directly within the database engine. We are essentially re-architecting the database to be the ultimate cloud platform for data-centric applications.
