Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Software Engineering Senior Lead to drive technical excellence and foster a culture of innovation within our engineering teams. This role involves leading the development of robust software solutions, mentoring engineers, and implementing best practices across the software development lifecycle.
Job Responsibilities
* Lead and guide a team of software engineers in the design, development, testing, and deployment of high-quality software solutions.
* Oversee and contribute to API Development, Front-End Development, Mobile Development, and Scripting/Back-end Development efforts.
* Champion and implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Development practices to optimize the software delivery pipeline.
* Drive the adoption of DevOps Practices and effectively utilize DevOps Toolchains to enhance operational efficiency and system reliability.
* Manage Database Development activities, ensuring data integrity, performance, and scalability.
* Leverage Virtualization/Cloud technologies to build and deploy scalable and resilient applications.
* Provide technical expertise and guidance in Risk Management pertaining to software development projects.
* Actively engage in Coaching and Mentorship of team members, fostering their professional growth and technical capabilities.
* Cultivate a Growth/Learning mindset within the team, encouraging continuous skill development and knowledge sharing.
* Contribute to project planning and execution, potentially utilizing methodologies such as the Waterfall Model where appropriate.
Job Qualifications
* Proven experience in a senior leadership role within software engineering.
* Demonstrable expertise in API Development, Front-End Development, Mobile Development, and Scripting/Back-end Development.
* Strong understanding and practical experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Development.
* In-depth knowledge of DevOps Practices and familiarity with various DevOps Toolchains.
* Solid experience in Database Development.
* Proficiency in Virtualization/Cloud platforms and technologies.
* Experience with Risk Management in a software development context.
* Excellent coaching and mentorship skills with a passion for fostering team growth.
* Possession of a strong Growth/Learning mindset.
* Familiarity with the Waterfall Model and other project management methodologies is a plus.
