We are looking for a Software In the loop Engineer to join the Lighting team, reporting directly to the SIL Supervisor. This position is based at our office in Mexico City.

As the Software In the loop Engineer at Marelli, you will be responsible for simulating an environment to perform tests and validate the integrity of the software.

• Analyze Software Requirements.
• Develop environments to execute testing processes.
• Design/Execute manual and automated test processes to evaluate software.
• Prepare technical documentation for the executed test processes.
• Manage defect tickets to ensure timely resolution.
• Programming Best Practices.
• CI/CD Basics.

• Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
• Advanced English
• Software Testing
• Software Development
• 5 years of development in the automotive industry

• Python/VBA/Jenkins – Intermediate.
• Understanding of embedded systems and microcontroller architecture (AUTOSAR/ARM)

As Software in the loop engineer you will be responsible for testing and optimizing code following internal standards, conducting thorough testing and debugging, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with hardware components.
