What you’ll achieve
As a Principal Software Engineer, you will get the opportunity to work with our world class talent in designing and implementing features for the data mobility area of our product in a fast-paced, agile development environment.
You will:
Design and implement highly scalable, distributed systems with advanced data mobility features.
Produce high quality documentation for detailed component designs and user flows.
Contribute to deep design discussions and code reviews to ensure the team delivers high-quality solutions.
Take initiatives to integrate AI technologies into PowerStore data mobility solutions.
Be a great team player and actively participate (and lead as needed) in all agile ceremonies and help deliver team commitments.
Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.

Essential Requirements
Bachelors (Technical)/Masters preferred, with minimum 6-8 years of design, development, and technical leadership experience.
Excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills·
Proven ability to apply advanced software engineering concepts and design patterns in building complex, distributed systems.
Demonstrated expertise in at least one mainstream language such as Java or C++ and various operating systems (Linux, Windows).
Familiarity with scripting languages in open systems i.e. Python and experience in developing REST API based interfaces.
Hands-on experience with AI technologies, including AI tools, LLMs, and agentic AI frameworks.
Desirable Requirements
Experience in building products and solutions for the storage domain.
Hands of experience into Python, C++/ Java.
