Position Summary

EzeRx HealthTech Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Software Quality Assurance & Requirements Documentation Specialist to ensure the quality, reliability, traceability, and regulatory readiness of its digital health platforms and device-integrated software solutions.


The role encompasses manual software testing and end-to-end preparation and maintenance of Software Requirement Specifications (SRS) and quality documentation, supporting deployments across government health programs, hospitals, CSR initiatives, and large-scale public health screening projects.


Location: Kolkata, West Bengal


Employment Type: Full-time


Joining Requirement: Immediate joiner preferred


Experience: 2–6 years (based on competency and domain exposure)


Key Responsibilities

1. Software Quality Assurance

  • Review and analyze approved SRS, FRS, PRD, and change requests to understand functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Design, prepare, and maintain:
  • o  Test plans
  • o  Test scenarios
  • o  Detailed test cases
  • o  Regression and integration test suites
  • Execute manual functional, regression, integration, and system testing for web, mobile, and device-integrated applications.
  • Perform validation of software–hardware (device) integration workflows, including data accuracy and stability.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using structured defect-management tools (e.g., JIRA or equivalent).
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams for defect resolution, retesting, and release readiness.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), pilot programs, and production rollouts.
  • Provide formal quality sign-off prior to software releases.


  • 2. Requirements & Quality Documentation
  • Author, review, and maintain:
  • o  Software Requirement Specification (SRS)
  • o  Functional and Non-Functional Requirement documents
  • o  Use cases, workflows, and user journeys
  • o  Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • o  User manuals and training materials
  • o  Release notes and version change logs
  • Translate inputs from: Product and business stakeholders, Clinical and field teams
  • Government tenders and program guidelines into clear, testable, and auditable requirements.
  • Establish and maintain Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM) linking requirements, test cases, and releases.
  • Ensure document version control, approval workflows, and structured change management.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation required for audits, validations, tenders, and institutional reviews.

Required Qualifications & Skills


Technical Competencies

  • Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC
  • Hands-on experience in manual software testing
  • Proven experience in preparing SRS and quality documentation


Solid knowledge of:

  • o  Requirement traceability
  • o  Defect life cycle
  • o  Test design techniques
  • Familiarity with testing of:
  • o  Web applications
  • o  Mobile applications
  • o  APIs (basic level)


Tools & Platforms

  • Test and defect tracking tools: JIRA, Bugzilla, Azure DevOps, or equivalent
  • Documentation tools: MS Word, Excel, Google Workspace, Confluence
  • Diagramming tools: Draw.io, Visio, Lucidchart
  • Basic understanding of version control systems (Git)

Preferred Experience

  • Familiarity with regulated or compliance-driven environments
  • Experience supporting field pilots and large-scale deployments
