Job Summary:
We are seeking a diligent Automation and Video Systems Test Engineer with a solid background in automation systems and a keen understanding of video/imaging systems. The ideal candidate will possess the knowledge to author new tests using scripting languages and have experience with performance testing of video/imaging systems. This role is pivotal in ensuring the highest quality, performance, and scalability of Adobe video applications such as Premiere Pro and After Effects.
Key Responsibilities:Author new automation scripts and tests, enhancing our automation infrastructure. Conduct black-box and end-to-end workflow testing, specifically focusing on GPU technologies. Ensure the highest standards of quality, performance, and scalability for video applications. Collaborate with global teams regularly to meet project goals. Work on constant improvements of testing methodologies for video applications. Must-Have Skills: Solid experience in automation and black-box testing. Proficient in Python or other scripting languages. Deep understanding of video/imaging systems and testing procedures. Industry Experience Required: Experience working in software engineering, specifically with a focus on video applications and automation systems. This position is for a 12-month duration with the possibility of extension, open to candidates who can work in a hybrid setting from the San Jose or Seattle Adobe offices. Candidates should bring at least 3+ years of experience in automation and black-box testing, with a strong preference for those familiar with GPU technologies.
