**Job Overview**



We are seeking a dynamic and experienced **Software Quality Manager** to lead our quality engineering efforts in Bangalore. This leadership role is critical to advancing Resideo’s global software ecosystem, ensuring our cloud, mobile, and embedded platforms meet the highest standards of reliability, performance, and security. You will lead a team of quality engineers, drive tactical initiatives, and implement advanced quality frameworks leveraging **AI agents** and **Model-Centric Platforms (MCPs)** .



**Key Responsibilities**



**Quality Strategy & Engineering Governance**



+ Establish and execute a comprehensive quality framework across cloud, mobile, web, and AI systems.

+ Define and monitor global software quality KPIs (e.g., uptime, defect density, MTTR, reliability) to align engineering outcomes with business goals.

+ Integrate **AI-driven testing** , **AI agents** , and **MCPs** into quality workflows for proactive validation and intelligent automation.

+ Drive continuous verification and early issue detection across the software lifecycle.



**Process Excellence & Compliance**



+ Develop and enforce robust quality control processes and standards across development and release cycles.

+ Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for systemic issues.

+ Create, review, and present Test Strategies and Impact Analysis to the wider-org.



**Continuous Improvement & Innovation**



+ Champion continuous improvement initiatives using agile methodologies.

+ Optimize software validation strategies including automated testing, performance benchmarking, and scalability assessments.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process enhancements.



**Team Leadership & Talent Development**



+ Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software quality engineers in Bangalore and across global locations.

+ Foster a culture of technical excellence, accountability, and innovation.

+ Drive change management initiatives to support engineering transformation and agile adoption.



**YOU MUST HAVE:**



+ Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.

+ 9+ years of experience in software quality engineering, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.

+ Proven experience in cloud-based software validation, DevOps, CI/CD, and agile development environments

+ Strong understanding of quality management systems, compliance frameworks, and software testing methodologies and experience in testing IOT devices.

+ Hands-on experience with **AI-based testing tools** , **AI agents** , and **Model-Centric Platforms (MCPs)** .

+ Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
