Job Description:

We're on the lookout for a dynamic Automation Test Engineer to join our tech-savvy team! If you're passionate about breaking and fixing things, equipped with 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in Selenium using Java, we want to hear from you.                                                                  

Key Responsibilities:

1. Understand client requirements & functional specifications
2. Identify test automation scope and prepare test plan accordingly
3. Work with Selenium automation framework to ensure tests are incorporated into reusable automated tests and coverage across integration level as well as UI level
4. Execute automated test suites and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement
5. Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and other agile ceremonies
6. Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies
7. Work closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner
8. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for test scripts and test results
9. Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices in test automation

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
2. Minimum 2+ years of project experience in test automation using Selenium
3. Strong proficiency in test automation framework design, script development, troubleshooting and maintenance
4. Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices
5. Experience working in an Agile environment is desired
6. Strong detail oriented, critical thinker and mentor for junior team members
7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
8. Effective communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
9. Strong understanding of API automation and Performance testing
10. Experience with Testsigma automation is a big plus
11. Good to have knowledge of Robot Testing Framework
