Software Test Engineer

Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for software components, including image acquisition, motion control, diagnostics, and user interfaces.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and field readiness.

Participate in test planning, requirements reviews, and sprint planning sessions.

Assist in troubleshooting and verifying issues on deployed systems, including remote testing and occasional field validation.

Document defects clearly and track their resolution using issue tracking tools.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

3 - 5 years of professional software testing with a focus on testing applications written in C#.

Proficiency in manual and automated testing techniques with understanding of testing performance-critical applications.

Working knowledge of test case design, defect tracking, and test execution strategies.

Experience in web application testing, including front-end and back-end components.

Familiarity with SQL Server or other relational databases.

Proficient in Git and collaborative development workflows.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments using tools like Jira and Confluence.

Background in testing imaging systems, X-ray, or related domains.

Experience with performance and load testing, including GPU-intensive workflows.

Understanding of cybersecurity principles related to software testing and vulnerability detection.

Comfortable verifying and supporting software deployed in a field environment.
